Public Notary

John Snelgrove and Nicole Rockliff, Principals of Rockliff Snelgrove Lawyers are Public Notaries.

The role of a public notary includes the certification and drafting of documents for use in overseas judicial proceedings, for foreign purposes, and government agencies. It also includes responsibility for protesting and noting protests of bills of exchange or bills of lading, for the taking of affidavits to comply with the requirements of foreign law and for certifying the due execution for a bill of sale of a ship. An important element in the practice of public notaries is the international aspect of their work.
